"What made BCM's service excel was the way our individual needs and ambitions were met, so what started out as a concept for us, has now been realised."
We helped Roots Design Workshop prioritise their business, design and technical objectives. This allowed us to focus on the areas that would deliver the most value.
We provided Roots with a number of exercises and guidelines that helped them plan and produce their content. Once the information they needed to communicate was defined revisions were made to their site map and content templates.
Next came the sketching process which facilitated the development of an underlying grid. Once we received their finalised screen designs we documented their functional requirements and configured their content management system.
Before long they had a highly customised website that looked like they wanted and any of their team could administer. Through the use of taxonomies, custom fields and post types they now have a design that is focused on the needs of their users, and a content management system that supports their future needs.
The team had also clearly considered the way in which they communicate with their clients. For example, our formal agreement and any explanation of a technical element related to the project was presented in a clear, uncomplicated tone that made it very easy to understand. Their honest critique and clear explanation of the pro's and con's of any design work we undertook was not just greatly appreciated but made the process very engaging and enjoyable. In our minds this also highlighted their professionalism and desire to see the project realise its full potential. The project was carefully managed, with the team creating a series of documents that provided clear guidance and information on the programme.
Above all this, what made BCM's service excel was the way our individual needs and ambitions were met, so what started out as a concept for us, has now been realised."
